tinnitus, dizziness, tense muscles or backache and aching joints.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">What is less known is that the causes of these ailments often lie in the area of the temporomandibular joints, the lower jaw and the jaw muscles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This disorder is commonly called cranio-mandibular dysfunction or CMD.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">CMD is triggered off by various factors and influence the chewing mechanism.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><div  class='flex_column av-5r7qrx-71ad51bff71e38be4673ea7f9e76bbc3 av_one_half  avia-builder-el-7  el_after_av_one_half  avia-builder-el-last  flex_column_div  column-top-margin'     ><section  class='av_textblock_section av-l8k1rycp-254aecd92e50e54d72aa49a9594979e5 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Prior to creating a personalized treatment plan a comprehensive investigation of the patient\u00b4s medical history is carried out and an ensuing analysis made.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">These findings are discussed with the attending physician.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">We work in close cooperation with a team of experienced specialists in the diagnosis and therapy of CMD such as dentists, pain therapists and mental coaches.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In many cases dental therapy involving splints or dental structure is necessary in order to achieve the desired success.
